Project Overview

Connectra secured and delivered an annual IT maintenance contract with a network of 15 NGOs operating across Rwanda. The contract encompasses comprehensive software maintenance, system monitoring, security management, technical support, and strategic IT consulting.

Scope of Services

Our maintenance contract covers the full spectrum of IT support: operating system and application updates, security patch management, antivirus and firewall administration, email system management, cloud storage configuration, backup and disaster recovery, hardware troubleshooting, and user support. Each organization has a dedicated account manager.

Remote & On-Site Support

Our support model combines remote assistance (70% of tickets) with on-site visits (30%) for hardware-related issues. Remote support uses TeamViewer and AnyDesk for secure screen sharing, with average first-response times under 2 hours for standard requests and under 30 minutes for critical issues.

Proactive Monitoring

Rather than waiting for problems, our monitoring infrastructure proactively identifies issues before they impact operations. We monitor server health, network connectivity, backup completion, security events, and application performance — generating automated alerts that enable our team to resolve issues before users notice them. This approach has reduced unplanned downtime by 75%.

Security Management

NGOs handling sensitive beneficiary data require robust security. We implemented enterprise-grade endpoint protection, email security gateways, two-factor authentication, encrypted file sharing, and quarterly security audits with annual cybersecurity awareness training for all staff.
